Design Team Halloween Challenge!

The design team for Not 2 Shabby has been challenged to a Halloween project!
The challenge will include a Halloween project. It can be a card, tag, altered project, post card, ATC,or either a Pintrest inspired project. The choice is totally left open. They can choose any project they would like to do as long as it is Halloween related. You must include a stamped image and at least two embellishments. The start date for the challenge will be Sept 22,2012 and it will end on Oct 01, 2012. They must post a video of their project by the deadline. You can find Not 2 Shabby's design team YouTube channel's on the side bar. Please watch to see what they have created! One winner will be chosen using random.org. The Greeting Farm Stamp shown is called Thursday, perfect for Halloween projects! I colored her hat with colored pencils along with her hair, shirt and shoes. The rest of the image was colored with Copic markers besides the eye shadow and the blush on the kitty hat there I used chalk.

Isn't she adorable I love this stamp - Coffee Kiki is available in my shop. She will be back in stock next week! I used copic markers to color the image and the sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches. Love that set! For this card I cut card stock at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to make the card base.

3D Box Card - Lovey Dovey

I wanted to share a project I made that I think came out super cute. What do you think? It's called a 3D box card. The card can actually fold flat for easy mailing, I love that.

Picture Frame Jewelry Holder

I made this jewelry holder out of a picture frame. I think it's such a neat idea! I used a screen instead of the glass so I can hang the earrings on it. I added hooks to the bottom of the frame to hand necklaces from it. I shabby-ed up the frame and added some mulberry paper roses and flowers. Leave me a comment, I'd love to hear what you think!

My Altered Clothespins

I made these decorative clothespins, I think they came out cute. What do you think? I am going to use them to hang photo's up. Supplies used clothespins, white paint, scrap-booking paper, glue, hot glue and a I am Roses, small rose.

Mountain Adventure - Salt Life

We took a trip to the Mountains in North Carolina trying to figure out where we would like to relocate. After that we drove about 5hrs to the Ocean in Top sail NC. We are loving North Carolina so far!

We are having fun hiking in the Mountains here!

This is the Beautiful yard of the Mountain house, the babbling brook was so peaceful.

Then we packing up the pups and headed out to the Ocean and wow the deck is right on the Ocean, we couldn't be happier.

Here is my buddy enjoying the view! The dogs are loving it, my Shar Pei especially she is constantly out side watching the Ocean.

Card - Anya Sitting Cute

I made this card for my cousin who just got her first place, I thought this stamp set was perfect for a house warming card. The set is from The Greeting Farm, comes with a couch and pillows and a sentiment (Have a Sparkling Day!). The congratulations sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

Shadow Box - Book Card

Here's a fun card to make, it's called a shadow box card or a book card. I made this card for my Mother's Birthday. She really enjoyed this card! I used flowers from Wild Orchard Crafts and the stamp set from the Greeting Farm called Anya sitting cute. I just love this little girl, the set comes with the sentiment Have a Sparking Day and a coach stamp and pillow stamp. Just too cute!

The other side view: I added some trim to the spine of the book.

Here's what it looks like when you open it: You can put a gift inside if you wanted to. I added a tag with a pocket so I can write my message on the tag.

 So here is my card, I would love to hear what you think? The stamp sets I used were the Sentiment Sampler and Party Posse. I just love their fonts for the sentiments! I use the sentiments often, there is one for every occasion.

Miss Anya Collection Stamp

Hi all it's been awhile since I posted. I started buying greeting farm stamps and I just love them! I got my first set of Copic markers so I love practicing on these stamps. Now I have to put a card together with this girl, Love it!
